"And then there was the sun in the sky" for flute , didgeridoo and flute orchestra,
has been written for Pierre-Yves Artaud, Phillip Peris and the French Flute Orchestra.
The work is inspired by a tale from the Aboriginal Dream Time which tells the story of the birth of the sun.
"And then there was the sun in the sky" was premiered on the 11th of April, 2002, by Pierre-Yves Artaud, Phillip Peris
and the Orchestre Français de Flûtes (conductor Pierre-Alain Biget) in Paris, salle Cortot. The score is published by Editions Notissimo / Alphonse Leduc.
