Pluton

Dans le cadre de son nouveau programme pour piano seul et piano avec électronique, « In, um und um herum », la pianiste Thérèse Malengreau interprètera « Pluton » de Sophie Lacaze, extrait de son cycle pour piano « Vers les étoiles ».

« Un piano solitaire qui continue de se découvrir et qui est ouvert au monde, qui ouvre l’imaginaire. Issu du casse-langue allemand bien connu (à Ulm!), « In, um und um herum » désigne les facettes et les rôles multiples endossés par le piano dans les créations que j’ai rassemblées. Comme en poupées-gigognes, un piano en blanc et noir sobre ou éclatant mais aussi mis en jeu dans les cordes, de l’investigation de ses timbres et de ses harmoniques à l’expérimentation de mouvements d’intensités opposées, d’accessoires trompant ses propriétés vibratoires premières, jusqu’à la matière offerte au partenaire virtuel électronique, double absent ou créateur d’un environnement large  » (Thérèse Malengreau).

« A solitary piano that continues to explore itself, open to the world and expanding the imagination. Borrowing from the well-known German tongue-twister (in Ulm!), ‘In, um und um herum’ captures the many facets and roles the piano embodies in the works I’ve gathered. Like nesting dolls, the piano is presented in its simple black-and-white form, both restrained and radiant, but also engaged in its strings, exploring its timbres and harmonics, experimenting with movements of contrasting intensities, and incorporating accessories that challenge its original vibratory properties, all the way to the material offered to its electronic virtual partner—a distant double or the creator of an expansive environment. »
