« Fenouillet I », written in 2007, is an acousmatic short piece composed from recordings made during archeological diggings near the Pyrenees, mountains in the South of France.

In « Fenouillet I », sounds gathered on excavations in Fenouillet Castle (Pyrenees Orientales) were organized in rhythms of dances.

The piece is dedicated to the archaeologist David Maso. Is has been choreographed by Laura Shapiro in New York in April 2009.
