« Il n’y a aucune vérité, l’art est le plus beau des mensonges. Il me plait, je lui voue ma vie.
Pour lui, je marche, à la recherche d’indices précieux, petits cailloux lumineux… Poucet, je suis dans la marge de la forêt inventée par mes pairs. Dans l’ornière, je me repose, fougères fossilisées, plus douces que l’herbe rare, faute de pluie.
Pour peu, je m’en contenterais.
Non ! en avant, aux délices inassouvis… »

« L’art est le plus beau des mensonges » a d’abord été composé pour voix solo. La compositrice en a fait une 2e version pour soprano et vibraphone pour le festival le Son MiRé.

« L’art est le plus beau des mensonges » (Art is the Most Beautiful of Lies) was originally composed for solo voice. The composer wrote a 2nd version for soprano and vibraphone for the Son MiRé festival.
